 | | This is a 8 disc collection that contains 32-bit releases of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, LinuxMint, openSuSE, Sabayon, Mageia, Zorin OS, and Fedora. Ubuntu has been built to be easy to use and holds a 6 month release schedule (based on Debian). Kubuntu is the KDE desktop version of Ubuntu. LinuxMint is designed to be familiar to Windows users, and aims to be easy to use and provide good support for media options (based on Debian). openSuSE is the open source version of SuSE, one of the original Linux distributions. Fedora is the open source version spun off of Red Hat (now IBM). Because several of these have dropped 32-bit support, some of the releases are older. Sabayon, Zorin OS, Mageia provide alternate approaches/desktops and each strives to make a easy to use/ready to go system. Note that most new systems support 64-bit versions, so unless you have an older system that requires 32-bit, please refer to the 64-bit options. | | | | |
